If you like it, and can afford it (without sacrificing food for your SO, kids, etc.), go ahead and buy it. Savages are particularly inexpensive bikes. It's a good mount for the beginner or returning rider, and one that you won't necessarily outgrow in the short term. Many people like to recommend 250's, but the Savage is a much better long-range choice. Ride safe.
